LM Expansion
Description
The LM gate valve is a full-bore expanding gate valve designed and manufactured in accordance with API 6A and NACE MR-01-75. It is available in standard double flanged, Studded, threaded-end and other special Outlet Connectors and Manual, Pneumatic and Hydraulic operated.
The LM gate valve can be widely used in the Christmas tree, choke and kill manifold, etc.


Structural Features
● Full size oriented design
● Expansion type valve plate applied, can establish mechanical seal with valve seat with/without pressure.
● Sealing at the gate-to-seat and the seat-to-body is metal-to-metal.
● In addition to the metal-to-metal seal between the seat and valve body, a O-ring and PTFE on seat can improve valve performance at very low pressure.
● The seal between the valve body and bonnet is a metal gasket
● The stem packing is a pressure energized seal and can withstand severe temperatures and fluids. It is constructed of a non-elastomeric material that offers a low coefficient of friction.
● Non-rising design, and operation of valve doesn’t change pressure in valve cavity.
